The Commercial Executive: Strategic Projects is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand DP World’s footprint in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). This role focuses on managing high-impact projects, including the Pharmacy Engagement Platform (PEP) and related initiatives, to drive business growth, enhance market access, and improve healthcare outcomes in SSA. The position requires a blend of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, project management, and operational execution. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management: Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of strategic healthcare projects, including the Pharmacy Engagement Platform (PEP), across key SSA markets. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacists, distributors, government bodies, NGOs, and healthcare professionals (HCPs). Commercial Strategy and Market Access: Identify and evaluate opportunities to strengthen DP World’s position in the SSA pharmaceutical market, focusing on generics, cold-chain products, and patient management solutions. Operational Excellence and Digital Innovation: Drive the adoption of digital tools, including AI-driven inventory management, CMS platforms, and CRM systems, to optimize pharmacy operations and engagement. Governance and Compliance: Lead the formulation, review, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure alignment with DP World’s strategic initiatives and operational requirements. Reporting and Communication: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on project performance, including insights, outcomes, and recommendations for senior management.
