* Checking and analyzing the financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and the related reports.
* Checking and submitting the tax on salaries and the VAT on a quarterly basis.
* Checking the reconciliations of the bank, petty cash, checks on hands and the sister companies local and abroad prepared by the accountants.
* Checking the sales commission of the appointed agents, the country managers and the project managers.
* Preparing and submitting the budget on a yearly basis and controlling and reporting the variances.
* Updating the shareholders’ account on a monthly basis.
* Assisting the HR department in the preparation of the monthly payroll.
* Monitoring the treasury position of the entire group in Lebanon and abroad.
* Following up with the head of accounting department in each station abroad in order to submit the financial statements on a monthly basis in order to analyze them and discuss them later on with the management.
* Monitor the accounts payable and receivable to ensure that the sales potential is fully exploited and to safeguard the company’s benefit.
* Assure that all sales procedures are being respected and in compliance with the legal requirements.
* Follow up the doubtful debts with the lawyer as well as the issuance of the board of directors’ minutes and general assembly.
* Taking care of all the end of year closing procedures.
* Assisting the Group Finance Controller in miscellaneous reports and tasks.
