Supervision of accounting operations to ensure compliance with applicable US GAAP accounting standards for service companies and correct recording in financial information systems. I present an executive report to the financial vice presidency and ensure that reports and their dissemination comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies. I direct activities related to budgeting, quarterly planning, monthly financial analysis, and constantly monitor compliance with these budgets by business area, division, and group. Risk analysis for new businesses through financial models related to the renewal or signing of new contracts within my area of responsibility, and support for the Operations Directorate in analyzing new business opportunities as well as current businesses, preparing projections, and conducting feasibility analysis of the figures presented by the sales department. I also redesigned the template for the presentation of business figures under request of the headquarters, and it was implemented globally within Bayer. • I am part of the team that prepares financial analysis for specific business areas within the company, in order to detect their effect in the regional result. • I have done sales and operating results projections out of historical data in order to make evaluations against the figures delivered by the business areas, as well as the impact of the lack of accuracy within the region. • I have structured the information matrix available and analyzed the data in order to evaluate translation effects in the corporate expenses and to determine effective/possible savings. • I redesigned the corporate expenses report by type of expense for the entire region and implemented bridge analysis to detect important deviations and suggest corrective measures. • I was part of the team who created combined Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports for nine companies, with the purpose of making financial decisions for investments and financing. • I redesigned the Income Statement, Working Capital and Personnel reports with the purpose of improving the quality of data and presenting detailed analysis for the decision-making process (8 business areas, 9 companies). • I implemented the planning guidelines for forecasts and budget in Spanish, specifically customized for the region.
