• Assigning technicians to jobs – based on individual technician knowledge, scope, availability and distance to client; • Follow up with Project Manager if there is any confusion on the scope;
• Time management: this includes travel time, on site, and weekly hours;
• Ensure techs are clocking in and out;
• All technicians will need to keep manager informed on scope change, extended length of time at site, or any additional variable to the task assigned;
• Email correspondence regarding all dispatch functions;
• Equipment; received, required by job and stock;
• Job cost for all jobs;
• Reconcile all jobs at completion via spreadsheet, email, etc ;
• Confirm what is on work scope and managing Mac Work;
• Attend project calls as needed;
• Cable jobs - must be in constant communication with customer;
• Know where the technicians are at all times;
• Ticket management - internal & external;
• Confirm work scope with techs before they leave for job – via phone or smart chat Project Manager:
• Manage all cabling jobs in NY/NJ under $3,000; as well as one-off projects such as equipment replacement, emergency dispatches, etc;
• Assess projects once assigned, ensure scope is clear, all necessary equipment is in stock, etc;
• Reach out to client to schedule a day for onsite work to be performed, ensuring how long the project will take based on site survey and/or scope; • Confirm the day before and the day of the project to ensure technicians arrived on time and completed the necessary work; follow up with client after technician provides notes from onsite to see if client needs additional work done or if the work was not done to a satisfactory standard; • Ensure all notes from technicians as well as correspondence between client, Project Manager and technician are all included in ticketing system; • Discuss each project during weekly conference call with all other Project Managers, VP of Client Services, CTO, etc;
