We use SAFe for our agile/scrum dev practices using SOLID principles for development. The last 2 years, lead our cloud migration from on prem into AWS. This investment will enable us to deliver the same levels of product efficacy, innovation and service that our existing customers enjoy today, to even more Canadian dealerships and OEMs. Throughout 2022, I led the tech side in the due diligence representing Cox Automotive leading up to the successful transaction close in December 2022. Moved with the transaction from Cox to Trader, post close, lead integration plans, communications, along with mentoring and coaching my team of over 80 FTE people plus 35 contractors across the globe, throughout this exciting change. As part of the SLT work toward operational excellency, being strategic in reducing costs, removing blockers and always having the 'get it done' attitude towards solutions/integrations. Some highlights in 2023 are: Moving off Cox tools, pipelines and repos; legal changes for AWS accounts; Oracle 19c upgrade; and various backend integrations with new billing systems; SAP to Zuora including SalesForce. Moved entire application /infrastructure from on prem to AWS cloud multi AZ zone and all within 12 months. All this, while not interrupting day to day business and operations, delivering on our strategic and product plans and roadmaps for our dealers, lenders and OEMs. Including unique customizations for our lenders under our Professional Services umbrella. An RFP was prepared detailing the services required from candidates. CGI was eventually awarded the contract. Many Bell staff including myself moved over to CGI to ensure process and stability was put into place. Project and support duties remained the same while coordinating and executing the above. This outsourcing was a large cost saving to Bell. Annual capital budget was $5M shared among the 3Bell's and annual expense budget was $300k. Oversaw and aproved all projects for the stores, based on business requirements. All projects within also used the Six Sigma and or 3D approach, we also utilized "Excite Centres" when resources were dedicated.
