For over 12 years I was based in Singapore managing businesses/accounts in various APAC roles, including setting up new markets such as Japan. Cutting my teeth in tech distribution gave me invaluable experience and insight into the overall variances across vendors' GTM and operations models. Skills which were invaluable to a company such as Nokia which approached me to become their "distribution expert". That role lasted for 6 years and it was incredibly rewarding to encounter issues first and have the global Nokia teams learn from what i was doing in region. I am passionate about relationships, this industry is small as we all know. Im passionate about empowering acceleration. I am passionate about operational excellence. I am passionate about doing things that we have not done before and learning together. Recently at Nokia, I piloted a stocking program in Australia, one of the key markets, and this pilot went on to become the basis of the Nokia Fixed Networks global stocking program program being rolled out today. Its successes like this that drives me to empower people and organisations through consulting and lecturing. My current focus is to grow the next generation of business expansion via consulting, training or coaching/lecturing services.
