Played a key leadership role as “right-hand” to the CTO, contributing to the establishment of program management best practices and C-suite leadership review mechanisms. -- Led the successful delivery of the Teacher Assigned tutoring capability, enabling district educators to schedule personalized online tutoring for any student. This involved program managing engineering teams, maintaining scheduled, mitigating risks, and providing regular updates to C-suite leadership. Resulted in an on-time launch for Polk County and serving over 40k students across the district. -- Spearheaded the planning, execution, and launch of AI-Generated Lesson Plans and AI Tutor Chat as part of a newly-formed team focused on enhancing the learning experience using AI. Collaborated with business teams and a data scientist to launch Varsity Tutors-specific chatbots for customer support and internal employee use. -- Developed and implemented Varsity Tutors-wide program planning and review mechanisms, including templates for Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), Jira Epics, and Initiative weekly status tables. Established and facilitated a weekly C-suite Program Review to ensure alignment on priorities and progress towards critical deadlines. -- Successfully coordinated the migration of client customer support to Zendesk, a third-party customer service tool. Managed multiple internal engineering dependencies, served as the technical point of contact between Varsity Tutors and Zendesk, dove deep into API integrations, and partnered with business teams for end-to-end testing.
