I have designed the solution for SAP Cloud using IAAS due to an NFR coming from the Consulting Firm and also designed and stood up the Dev and PROD environments for our AKS (Kubernetes as a Service on Azure) with over 100 pods and over 5 nodes. And using RDS SQL (thanks to a very beneficial pricing deal with MS) and using this Kubernetes as the heart of our Microservices strategy that allows independent growth and rapid elasticity I am implementing several VPNs to different API providers since their are based on Geo Regions that do not benefit from an Express Route approach. I have developed several runbooks to automate actions that were previously tied to manual tasks. And introduced this practice onto our company. I am responsible for the Cloud Team and Lead the Design and Strategy for our trip to the cloud.

I am implementing service improvements on our Incident management process and integrating the existing tools into these processes through automation and other tools. My experience in managing Cloud assets goes beyond simple instance and storage management and I have also configured more specific services such as network load balancers and other software defined components. I have developed several improvements for our services that have resulted in a significantly lower monthly cost with the same level of performance and availability. I have developed a great number of migrations to cloud projects using both lift and shift, as well as component based migration. As a POC I designed a solution that using lambda and video transcoding was able to do facial recognition on live feeds 100% cloud based. Using my experience with core components of the AWS service portfolio I created Cloud formation templates that allowed our team to deploy new environments in a matter of minutes both for PAAS as well as IAAS scenarios. I also implemented several improvements for our S3 and EC2 management ( reserved instances, transfer acceleration, encryption, AMI standards, VPC Security) using a combination of Lambda with SNS.
