Opioids from Inside - Independent FilmProducer
Jan. 2018 - Jan. 2018This film followed the journey of three women who were incarcerated for opioid-related offenses and delved into the ramifications on their children and families. Under a tight deadline from concept to distribution, conducted in-depth research, performed pre- and on-camera interviews, managed all shoot logistics and clearance of locations and graphics, story edited, and oversaw all licensing and distribution contracts. The film is currently airing on PBS stations nationwide.
Out in Rural America - Independent FilmProducer & Writer
Jan. 2014 - Jan. 2021Independently produced, shot, wrote, and story edited Out in Rural America, which followed the story of six individuals/families over a six-year period, capturing the experience of being LGBTQ+ in rural America. Conducted extensive research, and closely collaborated with the LGBTQ+ community and advocacy groups. The film is currently airing on PBS stations nationwide.
