Dec. 2014 - Dec. 2017Zinkwazi Beach South AfricaI was a surfing instructor in Zinkwazi at Sugarbay where I worked in a dynamic team that took care of between 50-200 children a week. I thought children from the ages of 7 - 17 how to surf, body board, swim safely in the ocean, face their fears and embrace their freedom. I also focussed on inspiring them to be who they want to be, not what others want to see, while encouraging them to embrace life and take on any challenges that face them in their future. I would motivate the children to grow their abilities in sports, drama and art. There were over 100 different outdoor and indoor activities for the children to choose from through out the week where they could grow and develop their skills to overcome certain fears or insecurities.
