• Managed and controlled the businesses two stores while supporting the opening of a third
• Implemented a sales and marketing strategy, which identified new sales opportunities to the balance sheet
• Worked on operational projects to help streamline logistics and the control of stock management and loss • Kept an up to date knowledge and awareness of competitors and company position in the market place
• Follow up sales activity to uphold and develop client relationships through email, telephone and face to face means • Actively identified new products bringing the business forward in the marketplace
• Sourced products direct by the manufacturer from Italy rather than using a third party importer, adding a 32% increase to the margin (per sales). This particular range became the best-selling product to date.
• Visited trade shows and competitor stores to keep up to date with the marketplace which in turn helped to bring the company forward into the 21st century and opened the business up to a whole new, younger more affluent customer, without effecting the traditional customer base
