Dec. 2017 - Dec. 2021Te Kuiti, New ZealandResponsible for developing and negotiating major business contracts and interfacing between TLC and its major customers to build TLC's reputation and brand value by ensuring best practice commercial frameworks and technical engagement is achieved and maintained. This will be accomplished by: 1. Developing / implementing a professional Key Account Management framework by which to engage and manage customers 2. Developing core commercial structures to support TLC's relationship with its customers and the wider market (such as Customer Connection Agreements, Retail Use of Systems Agreements, Engineering / Construction Works Contracts, Supplier Tenders and Purchasing Agreements) 3. Ensure core framework provides adequate mechanisms to manage commercial risk and negotiate and provide professional advice to other TLC businesses on commercial contracts 4. Identify and investigate new opportunities for network growth or other business development options, including new technology innovation as it applies to TLC distribution network or customer premise / building applications 5. Maintain and manage relationships with peer Electricity Distribution Businesses, Transpower, key supplier partnerships, local and regional Councils, local Iwi and other industry bodies including the Electricity Authority 6. Manage projects related to the above areas, such as the roll-out of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure
