• Conduct talent attraction and acquisition functions including: advertising, networking and headhunting • Identify qualified candidates through various sourcing channels and talent pools
• Maintain relationships with line management, serve as a source of the recruitment strategy, advice and consultation for open vacancies
• Develop and update job descriptions alongside Line Managers
• Maintain up-to-date recruitment plan in order to prioritize staffing needs. Collaborate with Line Managers to identify future hiring needs • Manage the end to end recruitment process from requisition request through to placement Notable contributions/ Achievements:
• Reduced the use of recruitment agencies to less than 30% for IT recruitment in the 2019 and 2020 financial year
• Led the enhancement of the company’s current career page, which saw an exponential increase in applications and growth in the talent pool for recurring vacancies. Managed the initial design of the new career page as part of an initiative to overhaul the company website.
• Developed reports to map-out the success of the different recruitment channels, and breakdown the cost of recruitment between agency hires and the channels used internally.
• Implemented standardized technical assessments for IT roles
