My favorite times are spent with the individuals who are the most in need of special methods to communicate, learn, move about safely and manage their activities of daily living as independently as possible. I have many years in the medical field and then changed to the field of special education and blindness and visual impairment. I am especially happy helping parents find solutions to meet the challenges of being the greatest shareholder in their child's life. Their role is 24/7 for the rest of the child's life. I have experience with assistive technology as well as administration and classroom teaching. I have found that virtual connections with those I am working with is an excellent method for providing interaction with individuals and their families. I have a doctorate in Special Education and Texas teacher certification EC-12 and international certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist. I am not going to try to do the avatar creation. I am who I am. I am 84 years old and remember WWII. Lived in log cabins and did not have running water or electricity. I have seen many different ways of teaching and know which ones work. I didn't have a student loan for the three degrees I have earned. So, I don't have any student loan to be forgiven because I worked full time supervising an Assistive Technology Clinic and had two part-time jobs. I see no reason to not tell you why I need to work at 84, I am just finished my second bout of cancer and am not able to meet my apartment rent for this month or the coming ones. All the costs are trending up and insurance rates are going up while co-pays are also going up. Although I have worked all my life, I began earning $237.50 a month and only as inflation began to rise, did I earn significantly more. I am a good worker and don't want you to think I am a beautiful model as the avatars I just observed. I am real, I understand the work ethic. I have built computers and designed systems.
