Jan. 2021After growing my domain expertise and experience across myriad facets of marketing, often consulting and freelancing alongside full-time work, I put a name to my work using the way I refer to my dog, Jill (she's brown), as Brown Dog Brand Limited. Having the freedom and flexibility to decide on the clients with and projects on which I work is an amazing opportunity, as it allows me to focus on the things I do best, where I can make the biggest and best impact, and provides a situation in which I can grow, stretch, evolve, and thrive. Jill has gone to work with me in offices and locations across the US and New Zealand since I adopted her in 2014, and we say that she knows more about tech and marketing that most humans. She also knows a meeting is over when a laptop closes, and will stand from her (usually snoring) sleeping position to head to the door of the room. My independent experience has included fractional CMO, ABM, loyalty programme, data and marketing transformation, entire marketing programme oversight and operations work, and more across B2C, B2B, DTC, ecommerce, lifestyle brands, and offline marketing for a variety of industries. And Jill's usually with me.
