Jan. 2009 - Apr. 2011Modesto, CAAs the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Modesto Nuts Professional Baseball Club I served as the leader of several departments, including Public Relations, Marketing, Publications/Graphic Design, Advertising, Promotions, Online Presence, and Merchandise for the organization, which was selected as the California League Organization of the Year in 2010 and 2011. I designed and implemented an integrated marketing campaign for the Nuts, which contributed to record-breaking revenue and attendance records in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Additionally, I oversaw all aspects of community relations, including charitable donations and community appearances, and oversaw and directed a promotions staff of 12 for grassroots marketing, appearances, and in-game promotions. Major projects included:
• Creation of a new website for the team (2009)
• Strategic hiring of additional full-time departmental staff (2010)
• Planning and execution for hosting the annual League all-star game (2011)
• Creation, design, and editing of the game program - five issues per season (2009, 2010, 2011)
