Mar. 2012 - Jan. 2013As a CTO, I was responsible for business and technological transformation from the early stage startup to the leading EdTech company which operates and provide their services globally. We were a team of less then 10 then and we needed to design, develop and launch our products on other overseas markets in one year, which we actually managed to do.
As a CTO I was:
— Discussing the product vision, strategy and all features with the team, formalizing the product features
— Supervising and supporting 4 product teams, which were managing all the processes: design, prototyping, client and server side development, functional and high load testing etc.
— Negotiating conditions with our key vendors (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Yandex, etc).
Achievements:
— Growth of the development team from <5 people to 30+ in 1 year
— Launch in Brazil (first overseas market)
— Growth of the number of users from ~500k to ~3M
— 3 new products launched
— Decrease of the infrastructure cost
— Implementation of the Agile methodology
— Migration to AWS
