Numerous projects were made over the years with side-stories of characters involved in the series. The original six-part story was completed in 2002. The final side-story (a prequel to the entire story) tentatively titled "Double Zero" and "Project J" will feature the background of the titular character and the origin of the rumored Cosmic Power respectively. The first novel of the series, Yscariot: Sphere of Light, was published in August 2017 with the paperback subsequently released on the 19th anniversary of the story's conception (September 18th).
