Jan. 2021 - Feb. 2022Colombia, MedellΓnI was able to create an automatic email in charge of sending reports of the day's sales, expenses, balances and other reports to the users of the application in order to improve the processes and decision making of the clients. I reduced the loading time of some functionalities and forms by refactoring the code and optimizing database query processes using Hibernate in order to improve the user experience in the application. Implemented an API to send sales data to other applications that customers manage in order to improve the customer experience when generating reports and make their decisions smoothly between the different applications they can use. I solved 30% of the backlog bugs in the offline POS system developed in Nodejs and Angularjs, getting users to use this second application to sell their products offline. I increased by 70% the performance of the database by changing the old stored procedures by JPA Hibernate in Java in order to improve the speed of massive information queries in the reports.
