Nov. 2020 - Dec. 2022Lisbon, PortugalMy journey at Philip Morris International is a massive challenge because We're trying to build a technology hub from scratch. We need to define the best standards for the company's future. During this time, I participated in different projects focused intake the company to another level due to its relevance to it and because they're game-changers. Following that path, I idealized, architected, and implemented scalable solutions to help the company's goals. I worked with my front-end team to define company standards. I wrote articles, presented Tech Talks, and conducted Tech TARBs. During this journey, I took the lead in bringing a new front-end architecture to the company to give more robustness and scalability to projects and teams without development dependency or dependent and complex deployment processes. The Micro front-end architecture allowed me to archive several company goals regarding developing new applications and improving deprecated ones. One of them was the possibility of its having zero downtime of the application during the deployment cycle, even with multiple teams working on it simultaneously. I worked with several front-end frameworks like React, SolidJs, Svelte, Vue, Angular, etc. I had an opportunity to an architected application under a new pattern and managed all the infrastructure and the automated processes. I became certified in AWS, Scrum, and SAFe during this journey. Currently, I’m a micro frontends evangelist and enthusiastic.

Jul. 2018 - Nov. 2020Lisboa e Região, PortugalDuring my journey at Deloitte, I developed several web applications for the most prominent companies in Portugal like TAP, Galp, ViaVerde, NovaSBE, Continente, CGD, and FPF. I participated in developing some e-commerce stores and helped maintain different websites. I developed responsive emails marketing with MJML technology for several clients. In my second year, I was allocated to the international team to teach them how to use ReactJs, but they liked how I worked, and I stayed to leading the frontend developments.

Jan. 2017 - Dec. 2017Lisboa e Região, PortugalI started to work on this event company with the primary goal to use ReactJS, but I ended up learning ReactJS and Golang, and I stayed working as a full-stack developer. I developed websites for different events, some applications with geolocation, and surveys during my journey. Still, the most complex one was the Booking application for BMW's event. We needed to develop an application for the BMW affiliates to manage bedroom distribution, plane tickets, schedules, and others event needs.

Jan. 2012 - Dec. 2014Lisboa e Região, PortugalWhen I joined the company, the main goal was to build a platform for moving the deprecated paper system for a digital solution with management features. For the time being, and after implementing a custom CRM system, I started to lead the IT team and develop more customer features like the booking system, the e-commerce integration, and the voucher validator system. The platform came to the end phase with implementing the employee feature where the HR team could manage all the details related to it. In the end, and because the company was a beauty salon with franchising, we decided to transform the solution into a SaaS and use it in all the salons. The stack used during the development of the frontend side was HTML, CSS, and JS. I started to use PHP with MySQL; later, we moved some services to NodeJS.
