Safeguarded Novartis’ interest through management of multiple counterfeit cases. Conducted a thorough compliance review and reshaped regional setup and local contracts. Implemented the Go Africa strategy in 12 identified key countries to expand into Sub-Saharan Africa. Key Accomplishments: » Established expansion into 11 new markets (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria) from 2011-2013. » Successfully managed and saw through the financial crisis and impact of Arab Spring. Effectively aligned payment terms with prepayment, collected outstanding funds, reshaped delivery terms and timelines, and maintained positive moral amongst the staff. » Recipient of Innovation Awards in 2011 and 2012 for New Product Application (Fly control products) and iPad App for Biocides (Guidance and Calculation of dose and volume) respectively.
» Recipient of the Best Project Idea Award from Novartis Group in 2012 for leveraging the expertise in Fly vector control to effectively control the mosquito population, extending the offering by Novartis Malaria Initiative beyond treatment.
