During the time we went from 10 orders/day to 350 orders/day. easyeats didn’t have VC money to burn on ads, so we had to be extremely creative in finding strategies to compete in a highly competitive market. Managed their Instagram profile and organically grew it from 200 to 2000 followers in a year. Analysed trends, created viral-optimised content and engaged with the community. Of the 2000 followers, 80% were in our target audience. Built a highly engaged community with monthly reach over 30,000 in August. Started as the sole marketer, then as the company grew, managed a lean team of 3. Initiated and implemented scalable agile management systems such as daily standups, weekly sprints, scrum methodology in marketing planning. Self taught myself and built scalable systems like:
1. Notion for project and database management and documentation
2. Google sheets for weekly content marketing performance analysis and marketing dashboards
3. Figma for speeding up content creation and campaign launching processes. Regularly met restaurant owners and talked to hundreds of customers to better understand their needs and pain points better. Heard their objections and pain points and utilised that in structuring the marketing copy and brand positioning to better resonate with them.
