I work in an account management position, financing corporate travel and entertainment and optimising B2B spend. My portfolio consists of top global institutional clients from various industries with a combined annual spend of $1.5 billion. My primary focus is ensuring the seamless operation of the existing cards programme, implementation of new products and countries, layering the programme to cater for the different aspects of corporate travel. My secondary focus is B2B spend (corporate tail-end spend), with the aim to eliminate POs and ease the reconciliation process. I manage and lead ongoing relationship with multinational corporate clients with global cards programme through regular calls and meetings involving senior client representatives, key stakeholders and decision makers. An important aspect of my role is frequent proactive client communication, leading regular conference calls and resulting action plans, schedule, organise and lead regular client service reviews; identify trends and carry out margin analysis to ensure smooth operation of the program. Influence the optimal running of the project from launch into business as usual, with the strong focus on day-to-day cooperation with customers (post implementation stage), addressing their operational and technical concers. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Travel Cards (corporate credit cards, central travel account for air and rail spend, Virtual Card for travel). Day-to-day issue resolution with key contacts at the client’s organisation with an emphasis on resolving the root causes of any issues. Issue Escalation - Taking ownership of issues and coordinating fast resolution. Identify areas to cross sell cards products / solutions to existing clients and work internally to develop these leads. Grow programmes through new countries, changes to scope, additional spend types. Maintaining solid customer relationships driven by consistently high levels of client satisfaction.
