To do this, a whole range of focus areas was planned and executed; starting from analysing the financials of the companies, developing and changing the pricing strategy from cost-plus to value-based, through job analysis, including considering if what we all do was necessary, outsourcing some, automating some and ending with appropriate staff reduction. A phased approach was planned where 15 companies and 24 operations were individually reviewed and their approach standardised over an eighteen-month period. • Developed an efficient and effective Executive Team and created the environment for the European MDs to develop their countries in a thriving matrix organization, even considering the Covid years, through transparent and open communication.
