Gerhard has a Master’s Degree (M.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering and registered as Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa. He has 25 years experience in the field of Mechanical and Piping Engineering and has been involved in various projects in the mining, metallurgy, natural gas, nuclear and power generation industry. He is responsible for the design of piping systems and mechanical equipment on various mining and metals projects. He also functions as Project Manager and Engineering Manager on various projects. Further to this, he performs design reviews and approvals of pressure vessel and pressure equipment designs for various design companies.
