I am a seasoned IT expert and Senior Infrastructure Architect with extensive experience across both cloud (primarily Azure) and on-premises environments, specializing in complex enterprise IT solutions. Azure and On-Premises Expertise In my role at OMV AG, I served as a core member of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team and took on responsibilities as a Cloud Domain Architect. Here, I contributed to developing Azure-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) products, leveraging tools like Azure DevOps, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI. My work involved integrating Azure solutions with on-premises systems, always with a focus on meeting rigorous enterprise security and compliance standards. As a Windows technologies subject matter expert within the CCoE, I guided the team in designing a hybrid cloud infrastructure that optimized both performance and security. My on-premises experience, particularly with Petrom, involved developing architectures for Windows environments and acting as an SME in large-scale rollouts for branch offices. In roles like Server Management Expert and IT Manager, I led IT infrastructure management across international sites, covering everything from network administration and IT security to incident and problem management.
