Seaworthy Ventures leads regenerative blue economy development by advising and investing in our community’s co-created and existing BlueTech (AKA ocean and climate impact technology) businesses. As a Strategic Advisor, I work closely with Senior Leadership on both the profit and non-profit side of the organization. This involves the development of Corporate Partnership strategy and other initiatives and engagements. This includes investor relations, planning, development and management. I also serve as a Mentor/Collaborator to Cohort Startups. In this role, I bring my unique expertise/perspective to startup development and educational programming to encourage radical collaboration in the ocean innovation and preservation space. Within the larger community, I provide guidance, mentorship, strategy, and processes across business sectors, facilitate introductions to catalyze exponential growth, share my passion for the ocean and ecosystem as a whole and evangelize the significance/value of the Blue Economy & BlueTech to the World so that we can preserve and protect the beautiful and dynamic planet we call home.

Works with the Applicants to resolve their disaster related needs. Ensures Applicants projects are processed. Navigate the administrative grant applicant process. -Track and communicate progress of all projects through the entire program delivery model in coordination with the Applicant. Provide accurate responses to Applicant questions. -Engage in special considerations (EHP, Mitigation, etc.) as soon as potential opportunities or concerns arise; discusses potential Hazard Mitigation opportunities with the Applicant. Hosts key information gathering/confirmation meetings and assistance delivery to Applicant recovery priorities; ensures program eligibility requirements are communicated (both eligibility and ineligibility). -Support Applicants through the Public Assistance process, communicating requirements for Requests for Information and scheduling site inspections and/or validations. Gather from applicant all required documentation to enable FEMA through the Consolidated Resource Center (CRC) and Grant Manager to write grants so the applicant can be returned to their Pre-Disaster condition as soon as possible.
