Aug. 2007 - Jul. 2008- Leader and senior electrical utility operation and maintenance supervisor of a US Army Prime Power platoon consisting of 14 Soldiers. - Led a detachment of Soldiers operating deployable power plants. - Managed $10M in property. - Led the planning and execution of a National Response Framework training exercise involving high- and low voltage power systems assessment in the Seattle-Tacoma area. - Led the planning and execution of training that fully qualified 14 Soldiers for disaster relief response. - Provided overall leadership for electrical maintenance and design jobs at strategic power facilities in Hawaii and Korea.

Feb. 2007 - Sep. 2007- Led a 5-man US Army Prime Power team; planned and managed power generation and distribution activities on a 20,000-person base camp in Iraq. - Planned and led over $20 million in electrical upgrade projects which were projected to save $30 million over three years. - Managed the operation and maintenance contract for a 14.6 MW power plant with an expansion to 38 MW. Generated over 15 million kilowatt-hours of uninterrupted power. - Led 11 electrical assessment, design, and battle damage repair projects at nine different sites. - Led the design a 16-mile, 11 kV overhead distribution system intended to place over 85 percent of the camp on prime generation and eliminate the need for over 250 individual generators.

As in-service recruiter for the program recruited, tested, screened, and counseled potential applicants for the US Army’s Prime Power program.
