Oct. 2004 - Feb. 2007Fort Belvior, VALed technical writing, liaison, and evaluation activities for the Training Development and Evaluation Section, US Army Prime Power School. Planned and performed technical work on a wide range of projects covering the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs in the generation, distribution, and utilization of electrical power in accordance with established educational theories and practices. Utilized the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and ADDIE models for training development. Evaluated performance of instructors engaged in student/sub-course activities. Led training material development efforts with the Department of Training and Leader Development (DOTLD) at the US Army Engineer School. As in-service recruiter for the program recruited, tested, screened, and counseled potential applicants for the US Army’s Prime Power program. Qualified as Prime Power School Senior Instructor. - Designed learning solutions to meet formal- and field-training needs. - Selected and recommended the appropriate teaching-learning approach, media, and delivery platforms. - Delivered learning programs using adult-centered approaches to effectively relate concepts and learner experiences to competency-based applications - Designed evaluation strategies to measure learning impact and communicate the evaluation process and results.
