Apart from country support in terms of training, financial management (Balance Sheet Targets) and business development plans, I was also involved with the Credit Performance Components with respect to Non-Performing Loans, Credit loss Ratio and Impairments.With a strong strategic focus and raising awareness in the market with some key external campaigns (mainly Equity Release) we managed to grow the book significantly in emerging countries outside of Namibia such as Nigeria, Uganda, Botswana and Kenya whilst keeping Non- Performing loans to a minimum. From time to time I assisted country with ad hoc projects such as Training, Credit Papers for the change of Product Parameters, IT enhancement projects on Bankmaster (ERLM), Budget Management Process and the design and distribution of an electronic newsletter (Home Front) to share information and promote new business ideas across the various markets.
