HR planning, developing a medium to long term HR plan, integrating the people and organisational priorities of the business area with the agreed goals. Organisational effectiveness through providing a source of challenge, advice and coaching to line management colleagues to deliver on going improvements in organisational effectiveness and to achieve desired cultural change. Drive a high-performance culture by challenging management teams to appropriately apply a breadth of performance and development principles and tools and taking ownership of performance of teams. Managing the employee relations under a positive and collaborative approach in order to work as partners in the implementation of global and local initiatives for the evolution of the business strategy. Business Change, provide the necessary HR support for business unit changes, taking into account people implications from the business unit context e.g. restructuring activities. Drive through organisational changes using best practice project management and communication methodologies. Facilitate the embedding of change at a business and organisational level. HR Service Delivery, ensure the operational fulfilment of core HR services meets business needs. Work with other appropriate parts of the HR function to achieve this (i.e. Reward, Recruitment, Training and Development, HR Shared Services). Policy and Process, takes responsibility for the shaping of new HR policies and procedures, particularly integrating the two organisations and ensure these are implemented within the business unit. Ensure the business acts in accordance with the appropriate employment legislation and regulatory frameworks.
