Work Background
CEO & Creative Director
Fracture LabsCEO & Creative Director
Apr. 2018SingaporeCEO & Creative Director of Fracture Labs, building a scalable open-world game development platform for persistent multiplayer experiences across PC, console, and mobile. Our flagship title, Decimated, is the first proof-of-execution — a post-apocalyptic survival RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. Following a $4.1M raise in 2021 (from $34M+ in investor interest), we scaled to a team of 36+ and spent 4+ years developing core systems for large-scale worlds, multiplayer infrastructure, and live-service gameplay. Decimated is currently live in open alpha, with over 400,000 downloads, and ongoing expansion to Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. Since founding Fracture Labs in 2018, I’ve grown the company from a self-funded startup into a multi-million dollar studio, focused on building reusable systems that enable faster, more efficient development of open-world games. Our long-term vision is to move beyond single-title development — and create a platform capable of launching multiple persistent worlds at scale. 🔗 https://www.decimated.net

CEO & Executive Producer
The Pixel IssueCEO & Executive Producer
May. 2010 - Sep. 2020Space and Beyond! The Pixel Issue was launched in November 2010 as a platform to promote indie games, science & technology news, audio/sound/CG design and viral content. We started developing our first game in 2013, with a micro-sized team. I was part creative director, executive producer, environment artist, marketing manager and QA tester all rolled into one! Hide & Shriek Mansion is a multiplayer game in Unity 3D, which combines classic point and click adventure game gameplay with spy vs spy and hide n' seek. Spies and thieves vs guards and janitors, trap setting gameplay, fully navigable environments including climbing drainpipes, through windows, airvents and chimneys! We're aiming for a low poly 2.5D style of graphics, 1 squirt squid ink, a pinch of stealth gameplay and lots of cartoon violence! While the initial plan is to make a cartoon style adventure game, we are developing tools that can be sold on the asset store, and be used to create another game that I have in mind with a dystopian sci-fi atmosphere, and cinematic experience. This concept is in script/storyboard/previs phase. Subscribe to our YouTube channel, follow on Facebook and twitter for updates! We're going to be developing this for some time and will document each milestone, to hopefully inspire more people to develop the games that they've always wanted to play! Jan. 2002 - May. 2009I launched this website in 2002 to promote the electronic music of myself and my friends, and over time it has grown to include artists from all over the world. We also act as a portal for online radio stations, and promote the best (in our opinion) animations, motion graphics, videos, games and music releases that we discover. We also run music events wherever we are, and promote the work that we have on the site to labels, promoters, publishers and fans. This website will soon be developed into a CMS, contributed to by users through a system of invitation, reputation and karma. Quality control about the best creative work, across all media.

Error ResponseComposer
Jan. 2001 - Apr. 2009This is a side project that I began since I was producing so much music that couldn't be categorized under one pseudonym, so I created another one. As time went on, the music seemed to take on a genre of its own - some of the tracks are dark, industrial and aggressive, while others are jazz, trip hop and film soundtrack influenced. Most of it is quite downtempo and atmospheric. I'm aiming towards having this music licenced in TV, film, games and other digital media. --> Reviews : "A cocktail of only the highest quality dubstep, IDM, hip and trip hop, drum and bass verging on breakcore. On one track Error Response is a film score composer only to become Venetian Snares‘ gentler brother a few minutes later.." 9/10 - Lukasz Napora, Sound Revolt "The author manufactured no less than 18 tracks freefrom any stylistic bond and influenced by the sound of many great names of the most conceptual of IDM.." - Giosuè Impellizzeri, www.technodisco.it "ERROR RESPONSE shows with “Zen”: he really knows about electronic auditory-music / aural-music. He brings on 18 fresh tracks of sophisticated and versatile Electronica." - Alex, Housefloor.de "deliciously deep and superbly produced.." - Voltergeist, Microrave Records "The album takes the listener on a journey of both hectic rushes and moments of contemplation.." Buzzin Electronic Music "This is a seriously tasty album.." - Quextal, NuSkoolBreaks.co.uk

EspionComposer
Jan. 1994 - Apr. 2009Stephen Arnold began producing electronic music in 1994. In 1997 he moved to Glasgow to study sound, audio engineering & music technology, and began to network with influencial producers & promoters from the industrial city. This fuelled the fire to produce darker, more experimental IDM. After several years as a promoter from 2001 and resident at various club nights, Espion made his first mark on the underground scene in 2005, with sell-out releases on Transparent Sounds' label Orson Records, followed by remixes on two of the best selling records on Billy Nasty's Electrix Records; Transparent Sounds' 'Cider Club ep' & 'Spot the Difference'. Since then, his diversity in his music has seen him progress into a well established artist, releasing with pioneering electronic artists from around the world, with frequent plays on Dave Clarke's White Noise radio show. Espion has brought his dark and meticulous sound to venues all over the UK, Prague, Berlin, Udine (Italy) and Shenzhen (China), while also doing sound recording, sound design, post production & music for short film. For music previews and portals to online shops, visit: Espion: http://www.myspace.com/espion Error Response: http://www.myspace.com/errorresponse --> Reviews : "Espion 'Petrol Bomb ep' rivals a lot of the Satamile catalogue for dark and uplifting electro, and may well have given us one of the last electro anthems of the decade.." - Bodytonic "Petrol Bomb is simply fantastique - a pure Espion style & sure a future hit. Congrats for your great work for the 2nd [bass4bots] edition. You have my support" - Umwelt "Two of the UK's finest electronic talents, Espion & Point B, join forces on the discerning berlin label Bass4Bots! huge worldwide DJ & radio support. The sound of electro pushing forward into the 21st century" - Veto "Espion - Petrol bomb" is one of the best electro track now." - Spectrums Data Forces "Europe's rising star of Electro.." - DJDownload
