This insight shifted design efforts from engagement-driven app features to frictionless, high-impact on-machine experiences. • Learned from beta machine insights and user observations to streamline the refill flow — reducing multiple steps, simplifying product copy, and enabling users to start and be sipping their drink in under 20 seconds. • Delivered the companion mobile app MVP, testing user appetite for impact tracking, payments, and machine discovery, with findings directly informing the final machine experience. • Created a unified design language across physical and digital touchpoints — aligning typography, colour, and tone to reflect Refilled's rebrand and build trust across every interaction. • Supported launch through marketing, packaging, and in-situ visuals; design contributed to adoption by leading brands including Meta, Atlassian, Google, and Greenhouse Tech Hub. The project marked Refilled's transition from pilot to commercial rollout, demonstrating how thoughtful simplification can make sustainable choices feel effortless and engaging.

Over nearly a decade, I led design across mobile, web, and brand touchpoints, building a unified product experience that balanced user needs with operational efficiency and commercial goals. Highlights: • End-to-end product design: Designed and iterated on Sherpa's mobile and web platforms to improve delivery success rates, streamline workflows, and reduce reliance on manual support through thoughtful UX and feature automation. • Design systems and collaboration: Introduced Figma and established a design system to align product, engineering, ops, and marketing — reducing design debt and accelerating iteration. • Cross-functional impact: Worked closely with product managers and developers to translate real-world operational challenges into intuitive digital tools for couriers, customers, and support agents. • Brand evolution: Redefined Sherpa's visual identity and tone of voice as the business scaled from personal deliveries to enterprise logistics — leading design for marketing, sales decks, and internal brand tools. • Leadership and mentorship: Supported and mentored junior designers, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and measurable design impact.
