May. 2013 - Nov. 2014Tulsa, Oklahoma Area• Be the primary lead on the YWCA’s social media efforts. • Manage the YWCA’s website with updated content. • Write press releases and pitch stories to news outlets. • Create marketing collateral for the YWCA’s four departments (ads, flyers, signage, etc.). • Managing advertising efforts for each department. • Attend tradeshows as a representative of the YWCA. • Coordinate events throughout the year for program and admin staff. These could include thank you events, recognition events, staff events, or small fundraising events. • Act as the lead staff person for the YWCA’s annual United Way campaign • Organize the annual Day of Caring event including creating projects, communicating with staff and volunteers, and ensuring a great experience for all involved. • Take lead role in communications and marketing efforts around Wine, Women & Shoes including managing the event website, Facebook page, e-mail blasts, and other promotions. • Oversee communications budget in coordination with the Communications and Development Director.
