Self-employedDrone Pilot / Videographer / Editor
Apr. 2014United KingdomIn 2014, I established my videography business, driven by my passion for capturing moments through ground and aerial videography while maintaining my full-time role as a Police Officer. Balancing both careers was challenging, but the growth and satisfaction from running my own business made it worthwhile. As a Police Officer, I introduced drones to Cheshire Police. Initially, some senior officers doubted their benefits, but through meetings with the Chief Constable, I demonstrated how drones could save time and money in various operations. This led to broader acceptance of this innovative technology, and now drones play an essential role within the force. As the sole owner of my business, I manage sales, marketing, and finance, building strong relationships with clients to deliver tailored videography solutions. From capturing intimate wedding moments to creating promotional content for FTSE 100 companies, I approach each project with professionalism. A significant aspect of my work is aerial videography. With extensive experience flying around and inspecting wind turbines, I provide clients with stunning perspectives that enhance storytelling and set my work apart in a competitive market. I use advanced editing software, including DaVinci Resolve Studio and Adobe Creative Suite, to transform raw footage into polished final products, ensuring that each moment's essence is preserved. Throughout my journey, I have committed to continuous improvement in my technical skills and business acumen. Running my own videography business alongside my responsibilities as a Police Officer has equipped me with invaluable skills in time management, communication, and problem-solving.
