Aug. 2023Shoreline, Washington, United States• Respond to 911 calls to de-escalate acute crisis responses and increase safe outcomes. • Stabilize individuals, families, and communities experiencing crises while working in coordination with law enforcement, medics, and firefighters.
• Provide acute clinical support, counseling, and resources to individuals experiencing mental health crises, sexual assault, trafficking, exploitation, addiction, domestic violence, loss, abuse, neglect, housing and food instability.
• Increase community safety and well-being by bridging communication between those experiencing crisis and city leadership to identify unmet needs and provide recommendations on building an effective and sustainable safety infrastructure for underserved children, adults, and elders.
• Determine risk, safety, and best practice for individuals experiencing psychiatric crises, reporting abuse and neglect to child and adult protective services. • Advocate for client voice and participation in care, including voluntary versus involuntary psychiatric and substance use treatment.
