Jan. 2020 - Nov. 2022India, KolkataOriginally planned for March 2020, this international arts exchange evolved into a multi-year virtual collaboration that deepened relationships across borders during a time of global isolation.
As one of three U.S. Arts Envoys, I co-facilitated the creation of A Global I.D.E.A., a devised theater project exploring equity, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility through a global lens. Over two years, we brought together 20 artists from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and the U.S. for regular online creative sessions that prioritized trust-building, cultural exchange, and co-creation.
The project culminated in an in-person residency at the American Consulate in Kolkata and a regional tour to Siliguri, Kalimpong, and Darjeeling, where we facilitated performances and post-show dialogues rooted in local context and community needs. The process remains one of the most impactful examples of sustained, cross-cultural community engagement in my career.

Aug. 2017 - Jun. 2020I led year-long after-school improv theater programs at Lehman Campus High School, which housed five NYC public schools in the Bronx. Using improv and ensemble-based performance, I supported students building confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of community—fostering deep connections across all five schools. In addition to developing theater skills, the program supported students in strengthening their social-emotional capacity, public speaking and collaborative abilities.
My commitment to consistent communication, inclusive facilitation, and trust-building grew ensemble participation with strong year-over-year retention. I centered joy, belonging, and student voice in every rehearsal, culminating in original performances that reflected each group’s unique experiences and collective imagination.
