Ensure cases are completed on time and within budget. Manage and conduct effective and efficient genealogical research at various archives, libraries, or repositories (online and onsite) to solve client’s research challenges. Ensure quality of research and end product, correcting research if it was not done according to genealogical standards. Work with research team manager to coach and develop team members. Manage work flow to ensure there is sufficient and appropriate work for team members. Collaborate with management to improve processes and quality control and create and market new products. Conduct historical research online and at repositories; review and analyze documents, microfilm, and microfiche and draw conclusions; abstract information from documents; create in-depth research logs; order documents from repositories and government agencies; create citations; write academic reports based on findings; genealogical research for the television show Who Do You Think You Are. Areas of expertise: lineage society research, African American, brick wall research, early pioneers and settlers in the United States. Regions: United States, some Canada.
