I have had a total of 14 years of clinical nursing experience. I started as a staff nurse, developed into a team leader, and am now in nursing management. I am currently managing a team of 10 nursing team leaders, 12 staff nurses, and 3 senior healthcare assistants. I have been doing this management role for nearly 3 years now. In this span of time, I have led service improvement projects and implementation, utilising strong negotiation skills and decision making. I have been directly involved in creating numerous clinical guidelines and resources for a more efficient service delivery. Having excellent skills in communication, negotiation, collaborative working, goal setting, prioritisation, leadership, and management equip me with the right tools to help you, who is wanting to develop these qualities, in order to make your transition from the bedside as effective and efficient as possible. I am offering 1:1 mentorship and coaching sessions for career development, leadership development, and management. My goal is to be able to prove to everyone, myself included, that these skills I learned since becoming a nurse can be applicable to roles outside of the acute clinical setting, and outside of healthcare all together. I want to help you, whether you are starting out in your career, or have more nursing experience than Florence Nightingale, to gain the confidence to develop yourself into the type of leader that you were always meant to be.
