Trained as a Cosmetologist and Cosmetology Instructor, Managed Front Desk for Gene Juarez Academy, assistant manager for Elle Marie Hair Studio. Monitored stylist supplies as well as retail sales and display. After becoming a mother we enrolled in a Cooperative preschool where I managed the curriculum team (creating themed rooms and art projects for 80 children under 5) and then became part of the Non Profit Board as the Fundraising Coordinator, directly in charge of increasing revenue for our programs. While in the program for 7 years we received education and training for early childhood development. Children in elementary school now, I am currently volunteering in class 2 days a week and teaching art once a month to kindergarten students.
