I am a seasoned software engineer and architect with over 20 years of experience building, scaling, and leading full-stack and backend engineering teams. My work has spanned early-stage startups and enterprise environments, most recently as a Software Architect at PayPal Credit, where I led large-scale initiatives in payments, fraud detection, and customer experience. I have a strong background in Java, Python, React, and cloud platforms including AWS and GCP, and a deep understanding of designing resilient, performant systems. Throughout my career, I’ve been known for bridging the gap between leadership and engineering, mentoring junior developers, and advocating for clarity, accessibility, and thoughtful design. I take pride in fostering inclusive and collaborative environments that help people do their best work. I am also passionate about test automation, developer experience, and evolving system architecture with a focus on maintainability and performance. I’m currently seeking a senior engineering or quality-focused role where I can contribute my experience without the pressure of climbing the career ladder.
