Oct. 2023 - Dec. 2024- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Branch Chief and Deputy Branch Chief, managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings, and prioritizing communications.
- Monitor and manage project deadlines, proactively identifying potential roadblocks and proposing solutions to ensure timely completion.
- Assess the effectiveness of meeting agendas, notes, and weekly newsletter processes by soliciting feedback from coworkers and leaders about their experiences, as well as tracking participation and resource allocation in staff meetings.
- Evaluate job board effectiveness by analyzing expenses against job application activity and provide recommendations to the Branch Chief.
- Perform routine studies of proposed policies and procedures for workforce development, human capital planning, budget actions, and other administrative areas and develop appropriate recommendations for leadership.
- Review and evaluate internal policies related to the management of internal information systems including SharePoint Online MS Teams, OneNote, and others to assess the effectiveness of existing procedures.
- Conduct analyses to identify issues, risks, and concerns within processes or procedures. Present findings to branch leadership and advise on appropriate solutions.
- Draft and implement administrative standard operating procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance with best practices.
- Perform detailed analysis for workforce planning efforts including manpower utilization, staff retention, and workflow processes.
- Independently plan and monitor priorities, performance metrics, and resource allocations to support operational requirements.
- Evaluate current administrative procedures across work units to ensure internal processes abide by NIA requirements, policies, and standards.
- Create and evaluate comprehensive plans for diverse administrative and scientific research functions.
