Sr. Project Scheduler
Venus AerospaceSr. Project Scheduler
Mar. 2023 - Mar. 2025Houston, Texas, United StatesAs Senior Project Scheduler at Venus Aerospace, I orchestrate complex aerospace research program schedules within the hypersonics industry. One of my first duties was to transition Venus from a basic project scheduling program and spreadsheet scheduling to MS Project. Using MS Project I was able to create Venus’s first accurate resource loaded schedules that were then integrated into Venus’s first Master Schedule. Additionally, I have been able to provide Venus’s first timely and accurate project overviews, resource allocation and overview reports, critical path, milestone, and float/slack reports. While there are no near-term plans to fully incorporate financial information into scheduling, I have initiated a project to begin tracking both procurement and manufacturing KPIs which will include defining, while collaborating with department leads and our C-suite, exactly what KPIs we intend to track. While Venus does not yet have the program complexity of some of my other positions, I have scheduled up to five separate research programs affecting the development of four different hypersonic projects that are of interest to space exploration and defense esp. NASA and the Air Force Research Lab. Notable achievements include successfully scheduling our first sub-sonic drone flight (SASSIE Program), the hot firing of our Rotary Detonation Rocket Engine at Marshal Space Flight Center (RDRE Program @ Marshal), and recently the first ever detonation of a Monoprop based Rocket Body Combined Cycle with a proprietary afterburner/reheater (no media released as of this date). Additionally, I was product owner for the Venus Document Repository and Approval Process, and Project Manager for our Confluence Reorganization Project – both of which were ongoing after the ROF.
