Apr. 2012 - Sep. 2018Mclean, VA As the Director of Engineering, QA and Operations I am responsible to provide the strategic vision and delivery for Monster’s government hiring solutions suite of products. Monster Government Solutions (MGS) provides an enterprise hiring management solution that is designed to simplify the federal hiring process. Working closely with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), MGS has developed an enterprise, cloud based solution designed to speed the time-to-hire and reduce wasted efforts by automating many of OPM’s hiring directives. While leading the Military.com team I am responsible for development of the technical roadmap that is in-line with the product development roadmap. This includes performing a large-scale technical refresh to increase the ROI on various investments. Define, update and implement the customer driven MGS and Military.com strategic roadmap.
Align the MGS and Military.com product, development, quality assurance and operations teams with the Monster Roadmap.
Provide strategic proposals to executive management to enable Monster to reduce costs and improve delivery.
Propose multiple new products, which aligned with our clients’ objectives, to executive management.
Participate in executive level strategic sessions designed to expand Monster’s footprint in new markets.
Perform multiple “Build vs. Buy” analysis and provided recommendations to executive management.
Strategic and Tactical management of a large Multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Led the multiple key efforts such building a global development organization, moving all dev-ops and qa ops to Amazon Web Services, fundamentally change the development methodology at Monster and leading the design and development of the first MGS Mobile Federal hiring application Train and mentor development staff on software development techniques, procedures and processes.
Conduct appraisals, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems related to employee performance.
