Search application files, notify selected applicants of job openings, and refer qualified applicants to prospective employers. Contact employers to verify referral results. Record and evaluate various pertinent data. Also assist job seekers with creation of appropriate resumes for position they apply for. Teach job seekers/employers how to use the LaWorks job search system. Enroll job seekers into training by completing core applications, membership contact agreements, Develop an individual service strategy(ISS), obtain documents pertaining to training, calculate cost of school and determine how much aid to give participants. Conduct workshops and implemented resume training for staff members. As Office Team Leader: complete end of the month reports and send to supervisors, create signs for office closures and make sure hot jobs board is maintained. As Safety Coordinator: update all files, do quarterly facility inspections and safety meetings, update safety boards, attend safety audit meetings, make sure appropriate signage is in place, keep up with driver safety records, conduct fire drills, make sure fire inspections are completed, update emergency preparedness plan.
