Sep. 2014 - Aug. 2019Toronto, Canada AreaDriven by a thorough understanding of communications and marketing, and with extensive skills in design I was responsible for overseeing and producing Food Service marketing and branding initiatives for 30+ retail food locations and Dining Halls on the University of Toronto St. George campus and the University's internal catering service. Utilizing my experience in design, communications and marketing, I worked closely in collaboration with the Director of Culinary Operations and the Director of Retail Operations to establish best practices, KPIโs, short and long term marketing strategies and ensuring a consistently high quality of work for retail food operations. I have a complete understanding of the university environment and how to work within the higher education sector. Responsibilities included the design and execution of brands, digital and print collateral, social media campaigns, illustration, photography, location signage, digital and printed and digital menu design, website design and development, pre-press production, uniform design, strategic marketing campaigns, statistical analysis of trends in marketing, building and fostering internal and external UofT media and vendor relationships including printers, photographers, videographers. Supervised and mentored students and supervised 2 full time staff.
