Jan. 2005 - Dec. 2008 Primary Responsibilities: Promoting GSK`s main driver brands to national doctor groupings including Medicross, Intercare, Medi-Clinic, Care Cross and Prime Cure. In charge of organizing training and national deals structures on a national level within Clicks, Dischem, Alphapharm, Medicross and Intercare. Also responsible for SADF account, as well as coordinating activities and involvement in all big national IPA`s. Monthly reports on sales within these groupings. Also included in this national customer base is the correctional services and big employer groups like BMW, Eskom, Telkom, ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, Ford Motor Company and IBM. On a national basis managing representatives dealing with above clients, and formulating action and marketing plans in order to increase access and sales nationally. On a monthly basis, comprehensive sales reports and performance per key account was formulated as to report on national performance, and to initiate action plans as to rectify any under performance. I was also heavily involved in the implementation and monitoring of WSFE, or the internal sales force effectiveness program. I assisted with coaching representatives and making field calls as to train, evaluate and report on progress. Secondary Responsibilities: National negotiation with these doctor and pharmacy groupings and employer groups regarding the implementation of wellness programs that is run very comprehensively. This includes vaccines, asthma and malaria portfolios. Managing a national database of customers and seeing them on a monthly basis to build relationships. The success that I have achieved in these areas is emphasized by a more than 100% increase in sales within the state sector.
