Also, I was responsible to grow, track, and evaluate the reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness through-out all forms of marketing, including email marketing, direct mail, advertising, fundraising and PR for the agency. I was able to successfully increase our visibility by 15% on social media and our website traffic by 10% month over month. As the sole Marketing professional in the Planning and Development department, I re-designed the agency website and all other brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials. This included content writing as well as designing of the material. Created the first ever Marketing Plan for the agency. Design and content writing for the 2014-2015 Annual Report. Created a contact database of Donors, Participants, and all other stakeholders. Created the agency’s first ever e-newsletter. Assisted the Directors in organizing the Capital Campaign and all other events such as the Legislative Breakfast, Veterans Events and Community Scholarship Breakfast. Completed grant writing for different grant opportunities on a monthly basis, and successfully received four grants for different programs. Also carried out several press releases and kept the social media websites up to date. Managed advertising via social media, newspapers, television as well as radio advertisements. Responsibilities included managing and executing agency, corporate, and government fundraising. Working with senior management to understand funding priorities and learn about the various agency initiatives. Write grant materials, coordinating ancillary materials to accompany grants, including budgets, bios, and profiles. Managing relationships with potential and current funders.
Track all media hits and impressions of email and social media campaigns, as well as coordinate and collaborate with other departments on the creation of marketing materials.
