To be available to supervise a graduate, use professional experience to develop the role of osteopathy within health care, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of graduate’s skills and proficiencies + graduates’ professional appearance. To present clinical tutorials as and when required.
Graduate Assessment/Feedback
Graduate Support in patient Management
To ensure that graduates are aware of tutorial, counselling, guidance and academic/learning support services, making referrals as appropriate.
Administration
helping admin staff by answering telephone calls and taking payments; overseeing the clinic diary to ensure the even spread of patients and graduate learning time; and making sure patients are attended to and not left untreated, treat patients where needed and allow shadowing by graduates, help to continually improve the learning experience of the graduates, the clinical software, and operational handbook, keep accurate, up to date records of graduate performance, contribute to the preparation of CPD events, communicate regularly with the centre
Quality & Evaluation
To participate in operational monitoring, review and evaluation.
Research and Scholarly Activity To continually update professional skills to maintain standards of educational excellence.
To provide advice and guidance to graduates preparing their Graduate Learning Portfolios.
To assist in relevant clinical data gathering as is required to provide the graduates with relevant stats to facilitate their development.
To contribute to Core’s research and scholarship activities.
Marketing
To help develop new and current directions for marketing, fundraising and research, assist in organising community projects for the graduates, help write content to promote our services (blogs, adverts, website copy etc) and produce, and encourage the graduates to produce, social media content in-line with the Marketing strategy.
