Brennand CimentosSenior Automation Analyst
May. 2015 - May. 2018ParaibaAs a member of the electrical department, I supervised the commissioning and startup of the manufacturing plant operations in Paraíba. During factory operation, I assumed responsibility for the automation area, focusing on improving processes and quality. Additionally, I managed and maintained server virtualization and industrial networks, implementing a distributed architecture for Automation Technology (TA). For virtualization, we used the VMware platform, while in the Rockwell base, we employed a variety of technologies, including Powerflex 750 and 6000 series inverters, E300 smart relays, Cisco Stratix switches, ControLogix and CompactLogix PLCs, FTView supervisory system, backup and auditing with AssetCentre, and data historization with PI Historian. Some highlights of my work include: Normalization of forklift and reclaimer flow control.
Significant improvement in process automation to increase furnace production capacity, allowing production to increase from 3600 to 4500 tons/day of clinker.
Automation of the process filter, previously controlled by a proprietary system, now controlled by CompactLogix PLC.
Implementation of line 2 bagging, producing 25kg cement bags.
Supervision of weekly preventive maintenance for bagging by electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Survey and procurement of spares for lines 1 and 2 from Haver, improvements in bag application, and Beumer and Haver palletization.
Record production and storage of 144,000 bags weekly and reduction of loading time from 4:30 to 1:22h.
