Led and managed Occupational, Health and Safety and Injury Management. Supported the development of workplace and industrial relations. Provide leadership and supervise the performance of the People and Culture team by setting clear work objectives, assessing performance, providing feedback, and development and coaching to build employee capability.Drive a culture of customer centricity and responsiveness across all People Function teams. Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating human resource management strategies, policies and plans to meet business needs.
Advised and assisted Managers on all levels in applying sound recruitment and selection practices, and appropriate induction, training and development programs. Provided sound and expert advice to senior managers on operational people matters, risks, issues and trends to keep managers informed and supported including coaching managers in relation to change - and project management, engagement, and workforce planning issues.
Provided leadership and supervised the performance of the People and Culture team by setting clear work objectives, assessing performance, providing feedback, and development and coaching to build employee capability. Created an inclusive and diverse culture through promoting and growing employee education, awareness, and open conversations. Successfully led all daily operational aspects, Shared Services, as part of the Human Resources Function.
Strategically managed the Transformation department that resulted in an increased BBBEE scorecard level. Identified and recruited highly qualified talent via ATS, job boards, and personal networks.
Chairperson of the Pension - and Provident Fund - employment equity -, wellness commitee. Member of the remuneration and reward - and Social & Ethics Committee. Exco member.
